'Chowkidar's Vibrant Gujarat Website hacked?

Surat: It seems that the Bhartiya Janata Party central office learns its lessons too slow. After several days of the official website of the party bjp.org being down, now the much ado 'ed'  Prime Minister Narendra Modi's dream plan 'Vibrant Gujarat's official website, which usually draws attention from various business houses across the globe, is also down for reasons best known to the government officials.

In case of BJP.org, when opened there is a message that the website is down for some maintenance and will shortly be back. But in case of vibrantgujarat.com, there is no such message. 'Website Under Construction' is the only line in bold there.

It is to be mentioned here that the BJP's official website is down from several days now and has been claimed that the website is under maintenance.

On Tuesday, IT Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad had said that the BJP website was hacked "for a few minutes" but the party managed to get back control "very soon".
"There are rogue elements in the society. The site was hacked only for a few minutes. We got back control very soon," Mr Prasad said in the first admission from the government about the BJP site being hacked.
His statement contradicted BJP IT cell head Amit Malviya who had said last week that the site was not hacked. While admitting that the site had experienced some sort of "transgression", Mr Malviya said the site was down due to a "technical glitch", not hacking.
But in case of Vibrant Gujarat website, neither anybody has claimed responsibility of the hacking nor any official from the Gujarat Government has spoken about the matter.
The silence of the Gujarat Government is raising several questions in this regard.
